Disney has officially released some exciting news today! Lets look at all the exciting news together:
2024 Disney Resort Packages
Beginning on May 31, 2023, bookings for theme park tickets, Disney Resort hotel stays, and packages at Walt Disney World will commence for 2024 year.
Theme Park Reservation Requirements
Starting with park visits on January 9, 2024, theme park reservations will no longer be required for date-based tickets. What does that mean for you? When you or your travel advisor purchase your ticket for any date Jan 9, 2024, or later, you will be set for your visit! No park reservations will need to be made!
If, you have a different type of ticket - non-dated ticket, annual pass, etc. - park reservations may still be required to help Disney manage attendance and guest experiences.
Fan-Favorite Disney Dining Plans
Disney dining plans will be coming back as an option for those staying at Disney Resort hotels who purchase a vacation package beginning with arrivals on January 9, 2024. These bookings will also open on May 31st. Disney dining plans are pre-paid and offer added convenience and peace of mind to your vacation package. Both the Disney Quick Service Dining Plan and the Disney Dining Plan will be available.
Extended Time to Disney Resort Hotel Guests
For those staying at a Disney Resort hotel, early theme park entry will continue for visits through 2024. This benefit gives you a jump start on the day by allowing you to enter the parks before offsite guests. For those staying in a Disney Deluxe Resort or a Deluxe Villa, the extended evening hours will continue on select dates at select parks through 2024.
Disney Genie+ Experience - Simplified
Disney has announced that they are working on solutions to help simplify the Disney Genie+ experience. We don't yet have specifics, but they are looking to give you the opportunity to spend less time planning in the park and more time enjoying your visit with family and friends. We will be sharing more details at a later date as they become available from Disney.
