About Dapper Dreams Travel
The birth of Dapper Dreams Travel is not a traditional story. It began as just a small whisper in the back of my brain, but took a pandemic and lots of hard work to come to fruition. The story starts back in 2017, when I first decided to become a "part time" travel agent who specialized in selling Disney destinations. In 2019, I decided to make my travel agent position a full time affair. In January and February of 2020, my efforts were being rewarded as both my repeat clientele and my referral business were quickly expanding. Of course, we all know what happened shortly after, in March of 2020...the great Covid pandemic and the shutdown of the world, including travel. In that moment, instead of wondering what to do next, Dapper Dreams Travel was born.
During the shutdown, Josh and I worked feverishly to get the agency built. In June 2020, our family began traveling to "easy" destinations that were open, Tennessee and Walt Disney World were our first choices. From there, Dapper Dreams Travel's potential clients began to see the ways they could start venturing back out into the world. Our first clients travelled to Universal Studios in October 2020. Once more travel destinations began lifting requirements, travel became much easier for people. And, they were sure ready to travel!
In 2021, I experienced tremendous growth as both an agent and an agency owner. I hired our first four agents in August 2021, and have not looked back since. I am extremely proud of the Dapper Dream Team I have built, their dedication to their clients, and the bonds being built with each other. In just a few short years, we have achieved some lofty goals!
I look forward to the future and am excited to watch our agents flourish as they continue to help you, our valued clients, make your travel dreams come true! We appreciate all of you who have been a part of our story, so far and look forward to welcoming others into our pages as we help craft your perfect vacation dreams.
